As a part of the sale, the Brazilian Government requested a purchase of up to 33 Javelin command launch units (CLU) and 222 FGM-148 Javelin anti-tank missiles. The value of the contract was nearly USD 74 million. Thus, growing procurement of advanced weapon systems and C4ISR systems for enhancing military capabilities drive market growth across the country.

In January 2022, Elbit Systems signed a contract with the Brazilian Air Force to supply Hermes 900 unmanned aerial systems (UAS). The long-endurance, medium-altitude UAS can perform various missions such as intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition, and reconnaissance.
