The most common food items which use these compounds in their manufacturing are table salt and fructose-sweetened powdered soft drinks. Also, calcium compounds are used as anti-caking agents, such as calcium stearate NF in tablet and capsule lubrication, due to its good anti-adherent and lubricant properties.
