  • In June 2022, A GBP 7 million investment plan is being announced by Tata Steel for its Hartlepool Tube Mill in northeast England. The investment is going to be used to develop a new slitter that is expected to process coils of steel delivered from Tata's Port Talbot steelwork in South Wales.
