Textron Inc.

Textron Aviation is a leader in general aviation. The segment has two principal product lines: aircraft and aftermarket parts and services.

  • In October 2021, Sichuan Longhao Flight Training Co., Ltd. (Longhao Flight Training School) in China signed a purchase agreement with Textron Aviation for delivery of 20 Cessna Skyhawk piston aircraft. The aircraft will be deployed for pilot training in southwest and central China and delivery of aircraft is expected to begin in 2022.

Bombardier Inc.

  • Under product responsibility strategy, Bombardier plans to design products with minimal environmental impacts.
  • In September 2021, Bombardier introduced new super mid-size business jet called Challenger 3500. The Challenger 3500 aircraft introduces a redesigned interior with intelligent cabin features like first voice-controlled cabin to manage lighting, temperature, and entertainment systems, the first wireless chargers throughout the cabin and the 24-inch and 4K display in its class. The aircraft is also equipped with Nuage seat.

General Dynamics Corporation:

The aerospace segment of general dynamics corporation consists of two businesses, namely Gulfstream and Jet Aviation.

  • In October 2021, Gulfstream Aerospace introduced new features and options for its super-midsize Gulfstream G280 aircraft. The new cabin options included integration of plasma ionization clean air system, and new avionics features include introduction of avionics upgrade V3.6.1 for the aircraft.

Dassault Aviation SA:

  • Dassault Aviation plans to expand its global service footprint in Europe, Asia-Pacific, Oceania, and Middle East & Africa, with the introduction of new service centers.
  • In July 2021, Dassault Aviation announced that the company successfully completed the flight test of third Falcon 6X. The Falcon 6X has a range of 5,500 nm at Mach .80 and 5,100 nm / 9,445 km at Mach .85. The aircraft is anticipated receive certification by 2022.

Pilatus Aircraft Ltd

  • The company initiated a three-year strategic plan for its growth in the coming years. Some of the key focus areas are:
