Furthermore, the government is actively involved in dissemination initiatives and providing education to raise awareness of the advantages of energy-efficient DC motors and how they can be seamlessly integrated into different industries.
  • However, the growth of the market for DC motors is slowing down due to higher installation costs. The initial price of DC motors is higher than that of conventional ones, which makes it difficult for some customers to choose specific DC motors. Different raw materials are used to produce these DC motors, including copper, steel, aluminum, and rare Earth magnets.   • October 2023: Toshiba Electronic Devices & Storage Corporation introduced two 600V digital smart energy devices called IPDs for brushless DC motor applications, such as air conditioners, air cleaners, or pumps.
