  • June 2023: Google Cloud announced a new collaboration with Moniepoint, an Africa-focused business banking platform that provides financial services to Nigeria's underbanked businesses residing in remote areas and communities. The collaboration makes financial services accessible at scale to millions of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) by bridging the banking gap in suburban locations. By leveraging Google Cloud's scalable infrastructure, Moniepoint can process USD 14 Billion worth of financial transactions monthly, providing secure and low-latency banking services to Nigeria's small and medium-sized businesses in remote areas and communities.
  • October 2022: Oracle today announced Oracle Alloy, a new cloud infrastructure platform that enables service providers, integrators, independent software vendors (ISVs), and other organizations such as financial institutions or telecommunications providers to become cloud providers and roll out new cloud services to their customers. With Alloy, organizations can offer a full set of cloud services, including brand and tailor the experience, and package additional value-added services and applications to meet the specific needs of respective markets and industry verticals. Organizations can also use Alloy independently in their data centers and fully control their operations to help address specific regulatory requirements.

  • January 2023: The Crane Division (NSWC Crane), the Naval Surface Warfare Center, and Indiana University (IU) worked on machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) analytical research.
