• January 2023: The Crane Division (NSWC Crane), the Naval Surface Warfare Center, and Indiana University (IU) worked on machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) analytical research. This continuing research collaboration began in late 2019 and was made possible by the Naval Engineering Education Consortium (NEEC) and Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA). This project involved over twenty IU undergraduate, PhD, and graduate students.
• April 2022: The United States Army awarded about USD 19 million to 23 small enterprises to create machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies that would result in fully educated Army decision-making and automated operations and increase the pace and scale of military intervention.
• October 2022: The US Army Research Laboratory's agreement with Palantir Technologies to provide advanced machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) services to the US Department of Defense was extended. Under the new contract, Palantir was expected to run a one-year program to help the Department of Defense, including the joint staff, the armed services, and the special forces, use, test, and deploy AI and ML capabilities.

• January 2023: Amazon Web Services (AWS) made an important move by launching the AWS Local Zones location in Australia. This strategic step aims to enable Australian organizations to migrate additional workloads to AWS, thus supporting a hybrid cloud migration strategy and simplifying IT operations. The new location will provide low latency capabilities, which will be crucial in improving the performance of digital applications. It will also enable processing of large amounts of data faster, thus driving productivity gains.
• December 2022: Tiger Technology announced its entry into the digital pathology cloud file service with the launch of Tiger Bridge software. When integrated with a scanner, this software enables captured images to be sent to a public cloud repository, where remote consultants can review the images and help local medical teams make informed decisions about patient treatment.
• December 2022: StarWind, a leading provider of hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI) solutions, launched a storage gateway for Calamu. The storage gateway provides advanced data protection technology, safeguarding the company's backup data stored in the cloud against theft. The software's main feature is to protect in such a way that if data is stolen or copied off-site, it is automatically converted into an unusable format, thus preventing any unauthorized access. This innovative solution will help Calamu secure its data and ensure business continuity.

• September 2023 : Atlan launched Tag Management, a new way for data teams to manage data access across the modern data stack. Tags are essential metadata that can be assigned to data assets to monitor sensitive data for discovery, compliance, and protection use cases. With the launch of Tag Management, Atlan enables bi-directional tag movement in and out of Atlan. This means data teams can start using Atlan as the control plane for tags, ensuring that data assets in Atlan are tagged and protected everywhere in the data ecosystem.
• March 2022: Mouse Flow and Google Tag jointly developed Tag Management Software for E-commerce companies, where users can integrate the shopping cart value into a Mouseflow recording variable to monitor further the value of conversions and the possible loss of sales. This will enable the retailer to fix the problems that are costing money.

•  January 2023: EY unveiled its innovative retail solution, which leverages the power of the Microsoft Cloud to enhance the seamlessness of the user shopping experience. This integrated solution seamlessly connects all consumer touchpoints, enabling shoppers to effortlessly transition between online shopping, mobile apps, physical stores, or contact centers at any time. By harnessing the capabilities of Microsoft Cloud and Cloud for Retail, this system gathers data from various channels. It transforms it into valuable insights using cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), image recognition, and advanced analytics.
• October 2022: Deloitte introduced SuperLedger, an autonomous, AI-powered extension of its existing integrated cloud platform designed for transaction processing, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), and sub-ledger reporting. SuperLedger offers benefits akin to a complete ERP consolidation, creating a secure and reliable source of truth, all while delivering cost savings and quicker results.

• September 2022: Fidelity has introduced the option to invest up to 20% in Bitcoin for the US 401 (k) retirement investment plan. The financial services firm says Bitcoin represents a long-term investment in future blockchain technology. This investment prospect will become available by mid-2022 to 23,000 employers that employ Fidelity to administer their retirement accounts.
• August 2022: Kenanga Investment Bank announced its collaboration with Ant Group to launch cryptocurrency-based applications. The app will change the way wealth management takes place in Malaysia by integrating financial services such as stock trading, digital investment management, cryptocurrency trading, digital wallet, and foreign currency, among others, into a single platform.

• March 2023: UnaBiz, an IoT Service Provider and Integrator company, and LORIOT, a global Swiss-based IoT company specializing in long-range connectivity and network management, partnered to empower clients to deploy extensive IoT solutions, offering them the flexibility to choose from multiple protocols tailored to their specific use cases. This collaboration involves the integration of LORIOT's hybrid Network Management System, Hummingbird, with UnaBiz's middleware IoT data management platform, UnaConnect, to develop a comprehensive catalog of various products and services.
• May 2022: STMicroelectronics, a prominent global semiconductor company catering to a wide range of electronics applications, joined forces with Microsoft to enhance the security of emerging Internet-of-things (IoT) applications. As part of this collaboration, STMicroelectronics will incorporate its ultra-low-power STM32U5 microcontrollers (MCUs) with Microsoft Azure RTOS and IoT Middleware, along with a certified secure implementation of Arm Trusted Firmware-M (TF-M) for embedded systems.

• January 2023: KORE, a leading provider of Internet of Things (IoT) solutions and worldwide IoT connectivity-as-a-service (CaaS), chose Amazon Web Services (AWS) to streamline the deployment, management, and security of large-scale IoT solutions. KORE has introduced its OmniSIM SAFE solution, powered by AWS IoT Core, to address security challenges associated with Massive IoT and large-scale IoT deployments.
• February 2022: Check Point Software Technologies Ltd., a global leader in cybersecurity solutions, announced the acquisition of Spectral, a prominent innovator in developer-centric security tools. This strategic move by Check Point expands its cloud offering, Check Point CloudGuard, with a developer-focused security platform, providing a comprehensive suite of cloud application security features, including Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scanning and detection of hardcoded secrets.

• March 2023: Hewlett-Packard Company has announced a collaboration deal to acquire OpsRamp, an IT operations management (ITOM) company that observes, monitors, automates, and manages IT infrastructure, cloud resources, workloads, and applications for hybrid and multi-cloud surroundings, integrating OpsRamp’s hybrid digital operations management solution with the HPE GreenLake edge-to-cloud platform and helping it with HPE services will lower the operational complexity of multi-cloud IT environments that are in the public cloud, on-premises, and colocations.
• March 2023: Oracle has announced an extended collaboration with NVIDIA to include running strategic NVIDIA AI applications on the new Oracle cloud infrastructure Supercluster. NVIDIA has selected OCI as the first hyper-scale cloud provider to offer NVIDIA DGX Cloud, an AI supercomputing service, at a massive scale. In addition, NVIDIA is running NVIDIA AI Foundations, its new generative AI cloud services, which are available through DGX Cloud on OCI.

• December 2022: Trilliant, a leading provider of solutions for advanced metering infrastructure (AMI), smart cities, smart grid, and IIoT, announced the selection of its UK division, Trilliant Networks Operations (UK) Ltd., as one of the suppliers to provide smart meters to support the rollout of Ireland’s National Smart Metering Programme (NSMP) by ESB Networks. The program aims to help customers manage their energy use, save money, and lower their carbon footprint.
• November 2022: Landis+Gyr launched its latest ultrasonic smart water meters and a grid edge EV charging line during Enlit Europe 2022. The launch included the addition of ultrasonic smart water meters, W270 and W370, based on IoT technologies. Equipped with modern IoT communication like NB-IoT, the meter enabled the remote control to deliver valuable information for smart water networks, which include data not only in terms of volume but also additional information like water temperatures, alarms, statistical values, and events.

• September 2022: 2M partnered with Prostar Holdings Inc. to adopt Prostar's PointMan mobile application solution to enhance their utility mapping operations. Realizing lives depended on knowing where utilities are buried, 2M is committed to finding utilities with attention to detail on every project. PointMan proved to be a key differentiator in the market and continues to help companies like 2M provide value-added services to their clients.
• July 2022: Honeywell announced the extension of its smart energy offerings for utilities with its underground utility locating and data-capturing services. By harnessing survey-grade, Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) data, Honeywell Underground Utility Locating and Data Capturing Services allowed for building digital libraries of sub-centimeter maps. These digital maps enable underground utility lines to be located more quickly, efficiently, and precisely, ultimately preparing for the future of reusable data.
• February 2022: Irth Solutions collaborated with Lightbox to increase location awareness, enhance location accuracy, and reduce the costs of the ticket management process for the underground utility industry. With parcel information and the UtiliSphere platform, the utility screener could determine the exact location of the dig and clear tickets if the working professionals aren't touching the facility.
