• April 2024: The US National Science Foundation invested USD 29 million to assist 18 teams of researchers at universities across the United States to explore quantum sensing. Each research team will receive around USD 2 million over four years to research quantum phenomena, such as entanglement, to create sensors to assist in things that would otherwise be impossible. Quantum sensors can enable experts to pinpoint infections inside individual cells and find subterranean mineral deposits.
• January 2024: The Brazilian government announced a new industrial policy with development goals and measures up to 2033. The new policies are expected to directly improve people's daily lives, stimulate production and technology development, increase the competitiveness of the Brazilian industry, provide investment guidance, promote better jobs, and enhance the country's qualified presence in the international market.

• March 2024 - Optima, the company’s third-generation computer-aided facility management (CAFM) system, was released by Auberon Technologies, a trailblazing provider of software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions that enhance facility management. Advanced artificial intelligence (AI) technology will be leveraged by Optima to bring productivity and insight, surpassing the capabilities of its predecessor, AuberonSpace, a software that set industry standards more than 10 years ago.
• October 2023 - TMA Systems, a topnotch provider of progressive Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), Calibration Management Software (CMS), and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), announced the readiness of the freshly upgraded Eagle CMMS, which is a transformational CMMS platform intended for businesses of all sizes demanding robust asset maintenance in addition to management solution. • January 2024: Media World, a multi-platform media group, collaborated with RSG Group of Companies (RSG Group) in a long-term deal finalized with a value exceeding AED 100 million (USD 27.23 million) to acquire and operate an outdoor high-resolution digital screen located alongside Dubai's renowned Sheikh Zayed Road. RSG Group will showcase the digital outdoor screen on the opulent Fairmont Dubai Skyline, a luxury five-star hotel and branded residences project. Media World's partnership with RSG Group is a significant leap into Digital Out of Home (DOOH) advertising for the region's media industry, providing opportunities for substantial investment and extensive growth in the domain.

• February 2024 - Hitachi Energy launched the TRO670 hybrid wireless router. According to the company, the newly launched router is the latest addition to its TRO600 series of low-latency and high-throughput industrial wireless communications devices. It has been developed to support a variety of smart grid and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) applications.
• February 2024 - Helukabel, a provider of industrial cables and accessories, announced the beginning of operations at its new production facility in Changzhou, China. Covering an area of around 25,000 square meters, the production facility is the company’s largest investment outside Germany.

• September 2023: Extra Space Storage Inc. introduced a tenant insurance offering, the Savvy Storage Insurance Program (Savvy), to serve the self-storage industry. The program is expected to help property owners increase ancillary revenues and improve customer experience.
• September 2023: Public Storage announced that the company had completed the acquisition of Simply Self Storage from Blackstone Real Estate Income Trust Inc. for USD 2.2 billion. The acquisition reflects Public Storage’s continued execution of its opportunistic growth strategy.

• August 2023 - Torqeedo, a leading player in electric boating, partnered with c.technology, a cutting-edge SaaS cloud infrastructure provider for power sport vehicles. This collaboration aims to develop intelligent motors and introduce an innovative software system. By integrating cloud technology into its electric boating products, Torqeedo continues its commitment to enhancing sustainability and user experience.
• June 2023 - Moog Animatics announced that Weinstadt, Germany-based Kelch, replaced the stepper motors in its product with Moog Animatics SmartMotor (model SM23165DT) to improve efficiency, reduce space, and protect workers’ hearing.

• December 2023 - Canadian Solar Inc. announced that e-STORAGE, which is part of the Company's majority-owned subsidiary CSI Solar Co. Ltd, will launch SolBank 3.0, the latest iteration of its utility-scale energy storage system. With a power of up to 2.35 MW and a capacity of 5 MWh, SolBank 3.0 seamlessly integrates high energy density cells, an advanced safety system, smart liquid cooling, and active balance system controls.
• October 2023 - Enphase Energy Inc. announced the availability of the Enphase IQ E.V. Charger in the United States and Canada. The I.Q. E.V. Charger is Wi-Fi-enabled and includes smart control and monitoring capabilities. The charger can also seamlessly integrate into Enphase's solar and battery system to help homeowners maximize electricity cost savings by charging directly from solar energy.

• June 2023: Motion Plus announced the release of the Motus1 (M1) industrial positioning actuator. This new addition brings a belt- and screw-driven industrial linear positioner for superior performance to Motion Plus's already broad portfolio of in-stock, high-quality automation components.
• June 2023: Schneeberger highlighted its precision linear positioning 05 motion systems, solutions, and deep engineering expertise at Automate 2023.
