• December 2021: BASF SE launched the new enzyme product Natupulse TS for animal feed. Natupulse TS is a non-starch polysaccharide (NSP) enzyme. The addition of ß-mannanase to the feed decreases digesta viscosity, increases the digestibility of the feed, and ensures a more sustainable production. Natupulse TS is available in powder and liquid form. Both formulations deliver very good overall stability during storage, in premix, and under challenging conditions in the pelleting process.
• April 2021: Eastman Chemical Company has acquired 3F Feed & Food, a European leader specializing in the technical and commercial development of additives for animal feed and human food in Spain.
• December 2020: Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) Company expanded to end the production of dry lysine in the first half of 2021. ADM Animal Nutrition focuses instead on l-lysine liquid 50% and encapsulated lysine products. Throughout 2020, ADM worked closely with swine and poultry feed producers to transition to liquid lysine.

September 2022: Morocco-based Phosphate player, OCP Group purchases a 50% stake in the animal nutrition business, GlobalFeed, from the Spanish fertilizers group, Fertinagro Biotech. This deal would increase the OCP group's presence in the animal nutrition business, including poultry feed.

August 2021: Nutreco partnered with Unga Group PLC to form two joint ventures, which helped meet the growing demand for high-quality protein feed in the East African region. Nutreco received regulatory approval for its partnership with Unga Group PLC to form two joint ventures in the East African region in 2022. Nutroeco partnered with two indirect subsidies of Unga Group, namely, Unga Farm Care Limited in Kenya and Unga Millers Limited in Uganda.

April 2021: Kemin Industries launched a new antioxidant solution, Paradigmox Green, for the organic livestock production industry in the EMENA (Europe, Middle East, North Africa) region which can offer a complete antioxidant solutions portfolio of liquid or dry, traditional, or organic and that fits seamlessly with the customer.

• January 2023: De Heus Animal Nutrition established a new greenfield animal feed factory in Ivory Coast with an initial capacity of producing 120,000 metric ton of feed for animals including cattle.
• May 2022: Archer Daniel Midland Co. acquired a feed mill in Southern Mindanao, the Philippines expanded its Animal Nutrition footprint in the country.
• November 2021: De Heus Vietnam signed a strategic agreement with Masan, after which De Heus obtained control of 100% of the feed-related business of MNS Feed. The feed business of MNS Feed covers thirteen animal feed mills, with a total production capacity of nearly 4 million metric ton, strengthening De Heus' position in Southeast Asia's largest animal feed market.

• June 2022: Wellness Pet Company, maker of premium natural food and treats for dogs and cats expanded its Wellness® Bowl Boosters® line with the launch of Wellness® Bowl Boosters Freshly™.
• January 2022: Tevra Brands released a weight loss supplement for dogs, SlimPaws, a soft chew supplement that contains a blend of leucine and pyridoxine (vitamin B6) patented by Nusirt Biopharama Inc
• November 2021: Hill's Pet Nutrition partnered with Bond Pet Food Inc., a Colorado-based pet food company, to develop alternative ingredients to address the dietary needs of cats and dogs. The collaboration may help the company strengthen its dietary supplements portfolio with innovative ingredients.

• July 2022: Nutreco, a Dutch producer of animal nutrition, fish feed, and processed meat products, has been awarded a USD 4.8 million grant to build feed mills in remote African communities including Egypt.
• June 2022: Nutreco Exploration (NutEx), a new team within Nutreco, focused on the company's investment and research. The new team is expected to enhance the current portfolio of animal feed products and drive the next generation of feed additives, helping the company become an industry leader.
• January 2022: Cargill expands its portfolio of artificial intelligence-powered innovations to give poultry producers actionable insights Galleon™ and Birdoo are their latest innovative solutions to help maximize animal health and flock performance.

• November 2022: Mars Petcare signed an agreement to acquire Champion Petfood, a global pet food brand with a significant presence in South Korea. Champion pet food was a trusted brand in the premium and natural pet food category and saw a lot of consumer footfall. This acquisition aims to integrate Champion pet food's expertise in this field country's and Mars's brand loyalty.
• January 2022: Dongwon F&B partnered with Bmsmile, a domestic pet product brand operator, to develop functional moist pet food packed in sealed pouches and cans. The partnership would also help the company expand its presence in South Korea.

• November 2022: Skretting opened its new fish feed factory, Lotus II, in Vietnam. The fish feed factory consists of two independent lines with a production capacity of 100,000 tons per year.
• June 2022: Vietnam-based Sheng Long Group opened its new aquafeed mill at Phu Hoa Industrial Park, Vinh Long province.
• September 2021: Vietnam's Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development launched a USD 149 million initiative to develop the aquaculture sector in the Mekong Delta.

November 2022: Mars Pet Care signed an agreement to acquire Champion Pet Foods, a global pet food manufacturer and supplier specializing in premium pet food. The acquisition helps Mars Petcare in increasing its product portfolio and market share of the company across the world.

August 2022: Indian Pet Care brand Wiggles expanded its pet food portfolio with the launch of a new product line Every Dawg consisting of gluten and sugar-free pet food products for dogs of all breeds.

December 2021: Unilever a global consumer goods company has entered the Pet Care market in Brazil through the launch of Cafune, its first pet care brand which includes four types of pet shampoo, two conditioners, wipes, kitty litter, training pads for dogs, home disinfectants etc.

• April 2022: Cargill invested USD 50 million toward developing R&D in China, near Elk River, Minnesota, and a facility in the Netherlands to research and build animal nutrition and feeds.
• January 2022: Nutreco announced the confirmation of a partnership with Unga Group Plc to form two joint ventures in East Africa to provide high-quality protein in the region. Both ventures are named Tunga Nutrition, and the development helps increase market share in the animal nutrition markets.

• December 2022: The Asian Development Bank (ADB) and ABIS Exports India Private Limited (ABIS) entered into an agreement to subscribe to non-convertible debentures for USD 16 million to enhance food security in India by supporting the construction of a microfiche feed plant and by training up to 6,000 farmers in climate-resilient fish farming practices as well as financial literacy.
• January 2022: eFeed, an Indian start-up, initiated its plans to establish nutrition advisory centers across the north-eastern districts of India with the purpose of driving sustainable and accountable animal husbandry.
• September 2021: Suguna Feeds launched their cattle feed variants, MilkyBest+ and NutriBest, at their feed mill in Udumalpet, India. Both of these cattle feed variants are relatively cheaper than most brands in the Indian market while offering higher quality.
