Saudi Arabia and PepsiCo, in collaboration with social enterprise Nadeera, offer cutting-edge, digital solid waste management solutions and will develop an unprecedented approach to collect, recycle, and divert from landfills recyclable waste on board Saudi Airlines flights, in collaboration with Saudi Airlines employees and partners.
  • June 2023 - Coco, a London-based nonalcoholic restaurant, inaugurated their first international branch in Saudi Arabia. In July 2023, Rebel Foods introduced two cloud kitchens in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.   • April 2023: Greystone Logistics Inc., a Tulsa, Oklahoma-based processor of recycled plastic that develops, manufactures, and sells 100 percent-recycled plastic pallets, announced the purchase of Paradigm Plastic Pallets Inc., plastic pallet manufacturing equipment, and the reinstatement of production capabilities at its plant in Indiana. According to Greystone, Indiana-based Paradigm's pallets are manufactured using a hollow profile extrusion process and include robotics to facilitate production. Greystone adds that recycled plastic will be used in the process, consistent with its green standards.
  • February 2023: Milk & More, a UK-based online grocery and milk doorstep delivery service, collaborated with a reusable packaging start-up again to enable consumers to make more eco-friendly choices. The businesses intend to ensure the reuse of 3 million pieces of packaging that might be used only once otherwise. As part of Milk & More's effort to make sustainable packaging options simpler and more convenient, items will be collected from customers' homes.
  • March 2022: PFF Group installed a GBP 2 million (USD 2.6 million) system at its Sedgefield site as part of its GBP 4 million (USD 5.2 million) investment program in new process technology. It will be used to manufacture PFF's fully recyclable, food-grade packaging concept, IMPAC-T, to meet the increased demand from food manufacturers for reduced plastic in packaging.
  • June 2023: Coca-Cola India introduced a new bottle in Andhra Pradesh that is 100% recycled PET (rPET), with the assistance of ALPLA. It is an important milestone as the first time a 100% rPET bottle is used in India for food or beverages. ALPLA's initiatives are intended to promote Coca-Cola's global objective of using at least 50% recycled material in all packaging by 2030 by providing the rPET preforms. The new rPET bottle, now offered in 1 l bottles, was introduced for the packaged drinking water company Kinley.
