  • March 2022 : AkzoNobel Pakistan Ltd announced the establishment of a new manufacturing facility in Pakistan. The integrated paints and coatings factory would be constructed in Faisalabad, Pakistan, near the Allama Iqbal Industrial City. The plant will cover 25 acres and will begin operations in 2023. The new manufacturing plant's rapid production will help AkzoNobel to be more competitive in the market.
  • June 2021 : Gobi's Paints becomes the first Pakistani paint company to enter Europe. After 40 years of serving Pakistan with commitment, dedication, and world-class colors, Gobi's has now decided to expand its horizons and bring its expertise to the UK. Gobi's Paints strictly adheres to the highest UKAS and PNAC quality control standards. The company has two manufacturing facilities - both located in Lahore, the capital of Punjab province, and the center of industrial activity.

  • March 2023: BASF announced plans to expand its polymer dispersions production capacity by adding a second production line at its site in the Daya Bay Petrochemical Industrial Park in Guangdong, China.

  • January 2023: Asian Paints announced its plans to invest in a new manufacturing facility for waterborne paints, with a capacity of 4 lakh KL per annum. The facility is also expected to manufacture waterborne wood coatings. The operation of this facility is set to commence by the year 2026.
