• November 2022: Toyota South Africa Motors (TSAM) announced the importation of several RAV4 Plug-In Hybrid Vehicles (PHEV) to test customer response, vehicle behavior, infrastructure requirements, and other technical aspects, as well as educate customers on plug-in technology. It is also the second phase of TSAM's New Energy Vehicle (NEV) roll-out strategy, following the hybrid vehicle expansion strategy across Toyota's mainstream product lines.

• October 2022,: BYD announced that it had opened its first store in Brasilia, Brazil's capital, in collaboration with Saga Group, the country's largest dealer. In Brazil, BYD has introduced the Tang EV luxury battery-electric SUV, the Han EV battery-electric sedan, the D1, and the Song PLUS DM-i hybrid SUV, which will go on sale soon.
• In October 2022, Korea Fuel-Tech Corporation invested USD 10 million in the construction of a new plant in Auburn, Alabama, the United States. The new plant will produce carbon canisters and hybrid vehicle fuel systems.

• November 2022: According to BYD's official Weibo account, BYD's new luxury car brand is called "Yangwang." It will have a new and independent team for branding, products, sales and services network, and operation, with products expected to be officially launched in Q1 2023.
• August 2022: Infiniti announced the official launch of the QX55, an all-new luxury SUV, in China at the 2022 Chengdu Motor Show. It will be sold as an imported model in the country. It is available in four variants (one FWD and three AWD), with prices ranging from CNY 389,800 (USD 55,987.36) to CNY 475,300 (USD 68,267.81).
• August 2022: In Wuhan, Hubei Province, Dongfeng Motor Company Limited (Dongfeng Motor) held a press conference. Dongfeng Motor introduced Mengshi, a luxury off-road EV (electric vehicle) brand, and its exclusive "M" logo at the conference. The Mengshi brand's first model will hit the market in 2023.

• April 2022: Nissan Motor Co. invested 1.3 billion reais (USD276.12 million) in its plant in Resende, Brazil, and in launching new products between 2023 and 2025.
• January 2022: Link, a United States-based electric vehicle manufacturer, built a factory in the Mexican state of Puebla. A total of USD 265 million was invested in this production system.
• January 2022: Great Wall Motors announced investing USD 1.81 billion to manufacture electric vehicles in Brazil over the next decade in the factory acquired by Daimler AG.

• June 2023: Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles is expected to conduct autonomous driving testing using the self-driving all-electric Volkswagen ID. The testing program has already been launched in Texas, United States, at Volkswagen Group of America (VWGoA) alongside European centers. The company's aim is to expand commercially available transport services and the Volkswagen Group's mobility options.
• December 2022: Mercedes-Benz announced that a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed by Mercedes-Benz Vans with the Polish government and other partners to build a new van production plant at the Jaworlocation. The first entirely electric facility will be Mercedes-Benz vans.
• December 2022: Mercedes-Benz and Rivian signed an MOU for a strategic partnership and joint production of electric vans. Starting in a few years, the companies intend to establish a new joint venture manufacturing company with the goal of investing in and operating an existing Mercedes-Benz site in Central/Eastern Europe to produce large electric vans for both Mercedes-Benz Vans and Rivian.

Through this MoU, the company will deliver 39,000 ACE electric vehicles to all the logistics service providers.
• May 2022: Tata Motors launched the Ace EV, the electric version of the popular Ace truck. The company has entered the upcoming segment of small electric trucks for freight delivery in the country. The new vehicle has powered by a 27kW (36hp) motor with 130Nm of peak torque and has a range of up to 158 KM on a single charge.
• February 2022: BYD unveiled a new all-electric Type A school bus in the United States. The battery-powered bus is available in three different lengths 26.7 feet (8.1 meters), 24.5 feet (7.45 meters), and 22.9 feet (7 meters), making it suitable for routes with fewer students. In addition, the BYD Type A is fitted with Predictive Stop Arm, which monitors approaching traffic and notifies students as they exit the bus when it is safe to cross.

• June 2022: The United Arab Emirates' Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure (MoEI), Audi Middle East, and Siemens signed an agreement to cooperate on boosting electric vehicle (EV) charging capacity on federal roads and increasing adoption of EVs across the country.
• March 2022: Audi Middle East announced its collaboration with the Museum of the Future in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Through this collaboration, Audi Ag will convey its electrification and sustainability plans, which mirror the future-forward mission of the UAE.
• January 2022: DAIMLER AG subsidiary Mercedes-Benz has launched all-electric EQB SUV in 2022. It provides 2 models for the U.S. market such as Exclusive and Pinnacle.

• December 2022: The company has announced the launch of Tiger 1200 in India. It was equipped with technologies such as a blind-spot radar system, showa semi-active suspension set-up, a seven-inch TFT display, as many as six riding modes, and a keyless system.
• October 2022: The company has launched the new Dominar 400 upgrade. The sports tourer gets factory-fitted touring accessories and is tailormade for riders who prefer strong touring essentials.
