• March 2023: Mitsubishi Malaysia introduced its pre-owned car initiative, the Max Certified program, with some key features as follows:
• Every used car undergoes a thorough 150-point inspection conducted by certified company specialists.
• Each vehicle comes with a 12-month warranty covering the repair or replacement of essential components such as the engine, transmission, steering, and electronic systems.
• Buyers will receive a service e-voucher valued at MYR 500 (USD 10.43), which can be utilized at any authorized dealer for routine maintenance.
• February 2022: The Honda Certified Used Car (HCUC) program launched by Honda Malaysia in 2022 continues to be operational. The HCUC business offers certified pre-owned Honda vehicles equipped with genuine parts and free from major accidents. This initiative aims to provide customers with quality assurance and reliability when purchasing used Honda vehicles in Malaysia.

• March 2023: Hyundai Australia announced that it has begun selling used Ioniq 5 models on its company’s website, beginning with 23 vehicles initially.
• May 2023: Sojitz Corporation acquired full ownership of Albert Automotive Holdings Pty Ltd, which operates a wholesale and retail used car business as part of Dutton Group.

• October 2023: CarSwitch, a Dubai-based online used car marketplace, announced its plans to expand its operations across the United Arab Emirates and launch new services, such as car financing and subscription services. The company is also planning to open new physical showrooms in major cities across the country.
•  January 2023: Linda Cars, a used car dealership in the United Arab Emirates, announced its expansion with the opening of a new showroom in the Al Quoz area of Dubai. The new facility will host some of the United Arab Emirates’ prominent car brands, including Porsche, Mercedes, Audi, BMW, Jeep, Jaguar, and Range Rover.

• In November 2023, Huawei is partnering with Changan Auto, a Chinese car manufacturer to create a new entity for the development of sophisticated automotive systems and components. In this joint venture, Huawei will hold a significant share with Changan Auto's ownership not surpassing 40%. 
• The company's primary focus will be on the research, development, manufacturing, sales, and servicing of intelligent automotive systems and solutions for components. This collaboration highlights Huawei's into the automotive industry and emphasizes its commitment to advancing automotive technology.
• In August 2023, A research team led by Clemson University in collaboration with NETL and with support from Honda has developed a lightweight vehicle door using carbon fiber, thermoplastic resin, and advanced computer design. 
• This door is 32% lighter than a conventional steel door and successfully meets federal safety standards and Honda's specific safety requirements. This innovation is significant for the automotive industry as it offers a way to create safer, lighter vehicles that are more fuel-efficient and produce fewer emissions, without compromising on performance.
• In June 2023, ZF has unveiled EVbeat an electric concept vehicle emphasizing utmost compactness, minimal weight and optimized efficiency in actual use. In this electric vehicle by ZF, the elements of an electric drivetrain are finely tuned and integrated into a cohesive system. 
• Additonally this includes an ultra-lightweight, highly compact driveline weighing just 74 kg boasting an impressive torque density of 70 N·m/kg. This concept represents ZF's commitment to enhancing the efficiency and performance of electric vehicles through advanced system integration and lightweight design.
• In May 2022, Mercedes-AMG unveiled its Vision AMG all-electric concept car. The four-door coupé is built on the AMG. A platform is being developed in Affalterbach for all-electric performance models. The Vision AMG's innovative Axial Flux Motor was developed by Mercedes-Benz's wholly owned subsidiary YASA. Its compact and lightweight design provides significantly more power than conventional electric motors.

• March 2022: Toyota Motors Europe (TME) announced a major new contract with INDICATA Europe to roll out its used car pricing data to 13 countries over the next two months. INDICATA developed a bespoke reporting suite for TME that tracks all the online used Toyota and Lexus adverts from its dealer networks across Europe and presented it into an easy-to-read dashboard for each country.
• March 2022: Inchcape announced that it pulled out of the Russian market as a result of the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. The company stated that in light of the current circumstances, they concluded that the Group's ownership of its business interests in Russia was no longer tenable.
• March 2022: TrueCar Inc. launched a new online car-buying marketplace called TrueCar+. TrueCar+ was to provide consumers with a more flexible and personalized car buying experience for new and used vehicles.

• May 2023: Dynacast Manufacturing Inc. inaugurated a new USD 4 million plant in Leon, Mexico. The plant will focus on manufacturing commercial vehicles, including electric buses and etc.,
• April 2023: Iochpe-Maxion Structural Components and Forsee Power announced a partnership to offer the integration of battery systems for electric vehicles and buses.

• May 2023: Starbucks' U.S. locations will host the nation's first public electric vehicle charging network thanks to a partnership between Volvo Car USA and Starbucks.
• January 2023: Starbucks and Volvo Car USA have collaborated to create the country's first public electric vehicle charging network, which will be located at Starbucks locations across the country.
• September 2022: The City of Long Beach has partnered with Mercedes-Benz Research & Development North America, with assistance from Mercedes-Benz USA Urban Mobility Solutions and Xtelligent, to create transportation technology systems that will enhance liveability and environmental sustainability.

• August 2022: JBM Auto bags order for 200 low-floor electric buses from Delhi govt
• June 2022: Punjab Governor flags off the first of 40 Eicher electric buses of Chandigarh Transport Undertaking. VE Commercial Vehicles Limited, a joint venture between Volvo Group and Eicher Motors Limited, will support the state's vision of building a greener and sustainable state by supplying 40 units of Eicher Skyline Pro E 3012H electric buses to Chandigarh Transport Undertaking (CTU).
• June 2022: Ashok Leyland's EV arm unveils the electric bus platform EiV12, the buses would be available in two variants EiV 12 low floor and EiV 12 standard buses that would offer the best in reliability, range, and comfort.

In August 2022, Kalmar which is the part of Cargotec got the supply deal for the three T2i terminal tractor at the Maldives Port Limited. The orders are scheduled to be delivered by Q1 of 2023.

In June 2022, côte d'ivoire terminal has announced the delivery of 14 new APM 75T HE electric terminal tractor supplied by Gaussin for the usage of transportation services at port of Abidjan. Although, the order was made of 36 terminal tractor units which will be supplied in phases by end of 2022.
