• March 2023: Whirlpool introduced a three-star, inverter, frost-free, double-door refrigerator. It is excellent for maintaining long-lasting cooling.
• February 2023: Samsung Electronics introduced an intelligent inverter fridge with a double-door facility (RT34T4513S8/HL). Available with five convertible modes, it has unique features like a door alarm, inverter, external display and control (fridge and freezer), power cool/power freeze, stabilizer-free operation (200 ~ 300 V), deodorizer, interior LED light, and big bottle guards.

• May 2023: LG Electronics released the InstaView refrigerator featuring door panels that can change colors, offering enhanced customization. Users can alter the colors according to their mood, with the LED panels providing access to an impressive selection of up to 190,0001 color combinations.
• January 2023: Samsung Electronics introduced the latest enhancements to its customizable Bespoke Home series. The new home appliances and services were crafted to cater to the increasing desire for personalization and to offer enhanced connectivity that enables users to adopt more sustainable practices. Among the updates are a broader range of Bespoke refrigerator models and advanced AI Pro Cooking capabilities for the Bespoke AI Oven, which streamline and support meal preparation.

• April 2023: To enter the Indian market, American consumer electronics manufacturer Frigidaire partnered with Indian consumer electronics company Ossify.
• January 2022: Exertis expanded in the United States with the acquisition of Almo Corp. DCC Technology, which trades as distributor Exertis, announced its acquisition of Almo Corp. in North America.

• May 2023: Super Plastronics Pvt. Ltd invested USD 240 million in a washing machine plant in Noida, India. The company is the brand licensee for several international electronics companies and invested in the washing machine segment of Thompson, which entered the Indian washing machine market in 2020.
• March 2023: Haier introduced new washing machines that are manufactured in India, expanding its range of home appliances. Priced at INR 43,000 (USD 518.63), the washing machines offer smart laundry solutions and come in capacities ranging from 8 kg to 9 kg. They include features such as anti-scaling technology, a bionic magic filter, and a 3D rolling wash, with a lineup of 60 models.

• July 2023: Samsung launched its smart fridge that features a camera, speaker, and 21-inch touch display to provide a smart experience to its users in India.
• April 2023: Haier, a major appliance manufacturer, plans to invest USD 182.8 million for expansion by 2025.

• September 2023: Octopus Energy launched a revolutionary heating system. It includes the Cosy 6, a new heat pump from Octopus, the Cosy Hub, a home control system, the Cosy Pods, room sensors, a customized smart tariff, and the renowned Octopus 5-star service.
• January 2023: Johnson Controls launched the next-generation YORK YMAE Air-to-Water Inverter Scroll Modular Heat Pump, a high-efficiency air-to-water heat pump for the North American market.

• August 2023: LG Electronics Inc. introduced a new washer-dryer combo at IFA 2023. The new washer-dryer combo is part of LG's second-generation LG SIGNATURE lineup. It includes a heat pump.
• May 2023: Samsung launched its 2023 Range of Semi-Automatic Washing Machines to Make Laundry Day Stress-free. The range of semi-automatic washing machines comes with new features such as Soft Closing, Toughened Glass Lids, and Dual Magic Filters.

• August 2023: LG Electronics India and ITC Foods have announced a strategic partnership to redefine cooking experiences for consumers in India. The partnership combines two leading companies’ expertise to offer consumers a more convenient, healthier, and more versatile cooking experience.
• January 2022: Blue Apron announced a strategic partnership with Panasonic Consumer Electronics Company, a global leader in developing innovative products and solutions. Through this collaboration, Blue Apron will offer customers convenient cooking options combining select recipes with fast and delicious techniques using the Panasonic 4-in-1 Multi-Oven.

• August 2022: Samsung Electronics launched its bespoke product lineup in Europe. In its kitchen segment, it consists of one-door refrigeration, which comes in a fridge, freezer, and wine fridge.
• May 2023: ASKO launched its under-counter wine climate cabinet in the United Kingdom. The wine cooler has sufficient space for wine collection with a storage capacity of up to 38 bottles and is designed to keep the humidity at a level of around 70%.
