  • June 2022 - The Gen 6 Hybrid Smartwatch has been introduced by Fossil in India. The smartwatch series aims to integrate the functions of smartwatches with the design language of classic watches. These features are supported by Alexa, a new SpO2 sensor, Bluetooth 5.0 LE, and others. Along with the smartwatch, Fossil is debuting a newly designed companion software for Fossil Smartwatches, which the firm claims offer additional features, functionality, and a better user experience.
  • February 2022 - A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi and Troop Comforts Limited (TCL), a government-owned company, to create smart protective clothing for the Indian security forces. According to the MoU, IIT Delhi and TCL will research and design clothing and equipment for security personnel deployed in high-altitude regions like the Siachen Glacier, as well as apparel for ballistic weapon protection and the creation of sensor-fitted clothes.
