  • February 2021: Biffa group announced the acquisition of Company Shop Group ('CSG'), the UK's leading and largest redistributor of surplus food and household products.
  • October 2020: Waste Management completed its acquisition of all outstanding shares of Advanced Disposal, following the receipt of required regulatory approvals. The previously announced purchase price of USD 30.30 per share in cash represents a total enterprise value of USD 4.6 billion when including approximately USD 1.8 billion of Advanced Disposal's net debt.

  • December 2022- A cooperative venture called Rebottle between Singapore Polytechnic (SP) and SembWaste, a fully owned subsidiary of Sembcorp Industries (Sembcorp) intends to increase the amount of PET bottles that are recycled in Singapore, beginning with the Punggol Shore area.
  • June 2022- The introduction of a representative office in the Wijayakusuma Industrial Area was conducted on Thursday, June 30, 2022, making it a significant day in the history of PT Prasadha Pamunah Waste Industries (PPLI).   • February 2022: Organic India launched daily pack supplements, which are on-the-go supplements that feature whole herb formulas designed to target needs such as stress and mood changes, immunity, and cognitive and digestive health issues.
  • May 2023 - Acquia, a provider of digital experiences, recently unveiled upgrades to its Acquia DAM (Widen) digital asset management platform, including the addition of a potent AI chatbot to help with creative workflows. With a quick sounding board and idea generator, the capacity improves creative cooperation between content and creative teams. It enables marketers at an organization to create better content more quickly because they are no longer constrained by their team's past experiences and creative ideas. 
  • August 2022 - A renowned provider of digital asset management (DAM) software, Canto, recently announced new integrations with Hootsuite, a social media management tool, and Wrike, a work management platform, to connect Canto libraries seamlessly within the martech stack as a single source of truth for content creation.  
  • October 2023 - Kyocera AVX, one of the global manufacturers of advanced electronic components, planned to build an approximately 50,000-square-foot production facility in Knowledge Park at Penn State Behrend. The facility would serve as a corporate headquarters and manufacturing base for a new division created by Kyocera's purchase of Bliley Technologies. This Erie-based company manufactures crystal oscillators and low-noise frequency-control products for the aerospace, defense, and commercial satellite industries.
  • January 2023 - Epson has announced two new Real Time Clock (RTC) modules, the Epson RX4901CE and RX 8901CE family for commercial and industrial markets and the Epson RA4000CEand RA8000CE for the automotive section. These new solutions are introduced to complement Epson's existing RTC module line, which incorporates a crystal unit and an IC in the same package that enables a more straightforward implementation of this technology for different commercial and car applications.
  • August 2023 - ZTE Corporation, a provider of telecommunications equipment and network solutions, partnered with Thailand's telecommunications operator, Advanced Info Service Public Company Limited (AIS), to accomplish the world's first dynamic RIS (Reconfigurable Intelligent Surface) trial in an mmWave network in Bangkok. New investments in the field of millimeter-wave communication will offer a low-cost, low-carbon solution for deploying millimeter-wave networks at scale. RIS is an innovative multi-antenna technology that utilizes electromagnetic metamaterials. RIS enables the extension of base station coverage and improved coverage at a low cost and with low carbon emissions. ZTE's millimeter-wave network has a 400MHz bandwidth, which offers enhanced signal coverage. It will enable users to maintain a peak downlink rate of over 1.6Gbps and an uplink elevation of over 260Mbps.
  • August 2023 - Fujitsu announced its aims to begin commercial deployment of radio units using the technology globally in fiscal 2024 and contribute to the spread of millimeter-wave in the global market and decarbonization of the telecommunications industry. Subsequently, the beam multiplexing technology will be applied to base station (CU/DU) products and offered globally in fiscal 2025. Fujitsu will continue to develop technologies to advance the network industry and contribute to the rapid deployment of next-generation communications infrastructure.
  • November 2023 - JCET Group announced that its holding company, JCET Automotive Electronics (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., will receive a capital increase of RMB 4.4 billion (USD 0.61 billion), bringing its registered capital to RMB 4.8 billion (USD 0.67 billion). The investment aims to accelerate the construction of an advanced packaging factory for automotive chip products in Shanghai's Lingang Special Zone.
  • September 2023 - Intel Corporation announced the launch of a glass substrate for next-generation advanced packaging. This product enables further scaling of transistors in a package to enable data-centric applications and advances Moore's Law, which states that the number of transistors in an integrated circuit (IC) doubles approximately every two years. 
  • January 2023 - A team of researchers from UBC Okanagan is investigating new methods to monitor underground gas pipelines with the help of high-tech sensors that can make finding weaknesses, discrepancies, and even a diversion in residential natural gas lines easier. The researchers have tested a technology that allows for the inspection of HDPE pipes with the help of ultrasonic sensors, which transmit ultrasound signals through the pipe.
  • August 2022: Students from Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering, Mysuru, developed an ultrasonic blind walking stick that utilizes Arduino and could perform more than just a stick for visually impaired persons. This smart stick featured an ultrasonic sensor to sense distance from any obstacle, and it could sense lighting conditions and had a remote, utilizing which the blind man could remotely locate his smart stick.
  • In November 2022, an exclusive agreement granting distribution rights for an anesthesia system throughout North America to Invivo Research, Inc. has been registered by the manufacturer, Draeger Medical. The anesthesia system, called Narkomed MRI-2, is designed to be used in a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) environment. 
  • In March 2022, Clinical intelligence company BioIntelliSense expanded its remote care technologies portfolio with the launch of a new rechargeable wearable monitoring device, BioButton.
