• August 2022: Linum Ceramic announced the launch of one of the largest production facilities in Morbi, Gujarat. The new manufacturing facility was expected to be 5.6 lakh square feet in size and would likely highlight the manufacture of Linum ceramic.
• January 2022: Somany Ceramics, a manufacturer of tiles and bathroom fittings, estimates about USD 200 million aimed at capacity expansion; the capital expenditure was likely to result in a 20% capacity boost across its operations in south, west, and north India, allowing it to meet increasing demand after a rise in house sales.

• In April 2022, Platinum Equity portfolio company Paramount Global Surfaces acquired Stone Source from a group of investors led by Founders Equity.
• In December 2022, Emser Tile, a leading designer and producer of the world's finest tile and natural stone, announced the release of four new collections of glazed porcelain and ceramic tile (Tubage, Boxwood, Fragmento, and Estasi).

•  April 2022: The Solihull-based distributor of floor coverings, Likewise Group, completed another purchase. Similarly, Floors subsidiary paid £3 million for Delta Carpets (Holdings) and its sole subsidiary Delta Carpets.
• January 2022: Notion-headquartered in India, launched the laminate flooring series, which includes Suite, Loft, Basal, and Studio series. The products are designed for commercial as well as residential applications.

• On May 2023, Niro Ceramics announced to launch of its initial public offering (IPO) in mid-2024 and utilized the proceeds raised for the company's strategic initiatives to the bottom line and accelerate sales growth.
• On February 2023: Somany Ceramics introduced Tesoro Repliq by Duragres, a well-known brand for glazed vitrified tiles. Tesoro Repliq is a unique concept that offers the same design (set of shades) in two sizes and two finishes. The new tile concept is a perfect fit for cohesive and homogeneous interior results and is available in customized applications and room setups. Its highlighter concepts are available for both walls and floors.

• January 2021- Balta confirmed its sustainable approach with the introduction of six electric cars.
• March 2020- Britons broke into American tufted carpet manufacturing with the introduction of a new guest room kit.

• July 2022: Kajaria Ceramics Limited approved the acquisition of 51% equity shares of South Asian Ceramic Tiles Private Limited, Hyderabad, Telangana (South Asia), for INR 28.50 crore (USD 3.46 million), and accordingly, South Asia is expected to become a subsidiary of the Company.
• June 2022: Mohawk Industries, Inc. announced that it agreed to purchase the Vitromex ceramic tile business from Grupo Industrial Saltillo (GIS) for approximately USD 293 million in cash.

• Aug 2022: RAK Ceramics increased production and was allotted land for its manufacturing facility project in Saudi Arabia.
• Aug 2022: Al Maha Ceramics Company announced the acquisition of a 45% stake in Al Hael Ceramics Company. Al Maha Ceramics is one of the largest ceramic tiles manufacturers in Oman, and Al Hael Ceramics is the largest manufacturer of tiles and porcelain in Oman.

• In December 2023, Godrej & Boyce, a pioneer in driving sustainable practices in business launched Conscious Collective - a new initiative from the Godrej Design Lab. The first edition of Conscious Collective aspires to herald a new era of design-led innovation with a strong focus on sustainability and circularity that help consumers make conscious choices.
• In April 2023, India's First-Ever Safety Application for Material Handling Godrej and Boyce, India's flagship company launched i-Report, its innovative safety solution to improve safety in the material handling industry in India. The app will help to bridge the gaps in the industry’s safety policy and standards by providing a 360-degree safety solution to their customers as well as business partners by providing remote and real-time incident reporting and audit capabilities, as well as training and consultation. 

• June 2023: The FITOUT, one of the leading providers of comprehensive interior solutions in the Middle East and a subsidiary of Union Properties, has collaborated with the Gurian, an Italian furniture manufacturing company, to expand its product offerings and introduce Italy's finest luxury furniture to the UAE market.
• June 2023: Vivium Holding, a progressive single family office announces a strategic distribution agreement with Kettal, the renowned Spanish outdoor furniture brand driven by design and innovation. With Kettal's first UAE store to debut early next year, the collaboration adds to Vivium Holding's growing investments portfolio

• In 2022, Japanese furniture and home furnishing brand Nitori Retail has opened its first outlet in Singapore on March 31, spanning 31,630 sq ft on level four of Courts Nojima The Heeren in Orchard.
• In 2022, IKEA and H&M are teaming up to create an 'ideas factory' on the high street that aims to seek out, mentor and promote designers and small-scale manufacturers in London.
