  • June 2022: Catalent announced installing a high-speed blister packaging line to complement its existing automated bottling line at its clinical supply plant in Shiga, Japan. Customers working on this project from anywhere in the world will have the most access and flexibility due to the new blister-packing equipment, which is the same as that utilized throughout Catalent's network of clinical supply services.
  • September 2022 - Ball Corporation partnered with Boomerang, a water bottling technology developer, to provide refillable aluminum bottles. The ball corporation will supply its aluminum bottles for the Boomerang Bottling System, which is intended to help meet the demand for sustainable beverage packaging at resorts, cruise ships, campuses, and elsewhere. The partners aim to reduce waste and carbon emissions created in the production and transportation of traditional bottles.
  • September 2022 - Ardagh Glass Packaging Europe collaborated with B&B Studio and Belvoir Farm to create a new glass bottle design for Belvoir Farm's new range of sophisticated, non-alcoholic Botanical Sodas. The new design is a fully recyclable 500ml flint glass bottle with 45% recycled glass and a reduced weight of just 380 g.

The initiative aims to advance circular paper-based packaging solutions with a new recycling facility.   • March 2023 - 3A Composites Holding ag develops CRYLUXre and PERSPEXre are acrylic sheet materials that are made utilizing 100% reused methyl methacrylate (rMMA), obtained from PMMA scraps and waste. The rMMA is acquired from the depolymerization of acrylic sheets and fluid waste coming from our own creation. The material that has been recycled can be used again and again, saving raw materials and reducing waste.
