• July 2022: Corteva Agriscience, BASF and MS Technologies signed Agreement to to develop next-generation Enlist E3 soybeans with the nematode resistant soybean (NRS) trait for farmers in the United States and Canada.
• June 2022: A new variety of tropicalized lettuce is launched which is named Arunas RZ. This is expected to enhance the market share of the company.
• June 2022: Bayer company launched 'INH 16019', a hybrid rice seed with inbuilt tolerance to Brown Plant Hopper and bacterial Leaf Blight (BLB) in Bangladesh.

• July 2022: Department of Agriculture Philippines launched an information system that will hasten rice seed-related transactions and processes. This system is developed by Philippine Rice Research Institute (PhilRice) and the Bureau of Plant Industry (BPI) which includes production planning, field data collection, documentation, and geotagging; monitoring, inventory, and distribution of seed reserve; seed source tracing; application and approval of accreditation and seed certifications; and report generation, among other modules and apps.
• July 2022: The Philippine Rice Research Institute (PhilRice) collaborated with the Department of Agriculture-Regional Field Office and distributed Golden Rice (GR) seeds to farmers in areas of Urdaneta City and Manaoag, Pangasinan.
• February 2022: According to the Department of Agriculture, the mass production of Golden Rice seeds has started in the current year in the country, especially in the vitamin A-deficient provinces, to utilize and promote biotechnology in the Philippines. Philippine Rice Research Institute leads this program.

August 2022: IRRI increases the Bangladesh capacity of certified seed by conducting training for people from private seed companies at Bangladesh Rice Research Institute (BRRI) along with the Seed Certification Agency (SCA) on the rice seed certification processes.

July 2022: Under the 'Kharif-2 season incentive program' organized by the Department of Agricultural Extension, high-yielding Arize hybrid rice seeds are tolerant to brown grasshoppers and resistant to leaf blight been distributed free of cost to the farmers in Faridpur.

June 2022: Bayer Crop Science, a leading agriculture company in Bangladesh, launched the hybrid rice seed 'INH 16019', which provides tolerance to Brown Plant Hopper (BPH) and Bacterial Leaf Blight (BLB).

• October 2022: Pakistan government announced a unique package of Rs 1,800 billion (USD 7.98 Billion) to promote the agriculture sector, including providing free seeds and affordable loans and bringing down the prices of fertilizers and electricity for tubewells.
• September 2022: The government announced to spend of Rs 20 billion (USD 0.09 million) on the production of high-quality seeds of cotton and the development of climate-resilient production technologies in a bid to revive the crop, which has suffered due to climate change and the use of substandard seeds in recent years.
• June 2022: The federal government allocated Rs 21 billion (USD 0.09 Billion) in 2022-23 under a three-year Growth Strategy for improving the output of crops and livestock, countering climate change impact, promoting smart agriculture, value-addition, and agro-processing. It has also announced Rs11bn (USD 0.05 Billion) for providing the latest machinery, laser land-levelers, and quality seeds for the agriculture sector and enhancing exports of farm produce.

• November 2022: Dabur India Limited launched Dabur Vedic Tea, a premium black tea that contains 30+ ayurvedic herbs that provide health benefits and boosts immunity. The product contains herbs like Tulsi, Ginger, Cardamom, and others.
• November 2022: Tata Consumer Products expanded its green tea portfolio with the launch of Tetley Green Tea with tulsi flavor. Green tea improves immunity and is rich in vitamin C.
• July 2022: CVC Capital Partners Fund VIII completed the purchase of Ekaterra, the tea business owned by Unilever. A cash-free, debt-free sale of Ekaterra was agreed upon between Unilever and CVC in November 2021 for EUR 4.5 billion (USD 4.83 billion).

• January 2022: BASF increased the production capacity for its biodegradable film product Ecovio at its Ludwigshafen, Germany site.
• May 2021: Reyenvas, a subsidiary of Armando Alvarez Group, introduced Reyfilm Bio BIO, a biodegradable mulching film designed to break down naturally on the ground, reducing removal costs through microbial assimilation.
• January 2021: Ab Rani Plast unveiled Ecol, a sustainable film suitable for agricultural use, with a focus on European markets, for the entire agricultural season.

• October 2022: Seipasa launched its new advanced biofungicidal product, "Fungisei," in France, after getting registered phytosaniritarily by the European Commission.
• September 2022: Corteva Agriscience signed an agreement to acquire Symborg, a biologicals-based company, as a part of its strategy to expand its biologicals portfolio. The move was aimed at helping Corteva Agriscience in achieving its aim to become a global leader in the agricultural biologicals market.
• June 2022: Certis Biologicals and Novozymes, two leading agricultural biotechnology companies, collaborated to develop new technologies for highly effective fungal disease control. This collaboration will provide new solutions to row crop growers.

• October 2022: Koppert intends to invest in three new production units in Brazil, ensuring its leadership in the Brazilian and global markets for biological agricultural inputs. The new formulation unit will be located on more than 8,000 m2. It will produce the entire microbiological line, including products based on viruses, fungi, and bacteria in liquid or solid formulations.
• September 2022: Corteva Agriscience agreed to acquire Symborg Inc. to strengthen its global presence with a strong distribution network.
• March 2021: Symborg opened a new hydrolysis plant in Spain, with a total investment of USD 28.0 million. The plant is designed for the manufacturing of sustainable products for agriculture, such as biofertilizers, biostimulants, and biocontrol solutions that are imported to the United States.

• February 2022: Plant Response Inc. was acquired by The Mosaic Company, which is a global fertilizer manufacturer. This acquisition strengthened the company's global presence. Through the acquisition, the company develops new products and solutions for the customers in a sustainable way.
• September 2021: Tradecorp launched Biimore worldwide, a biostimulant obtained from a plant fermentation process. Biimore is made up of a unique combination of primary and secondary compounds, L-α amino acids, vitamins, sugars, and traces of other natural compounds.
• May 2021: Plant Response Inc. announced its acquisition of WISErg, which is a startup that upcycles nutrients from recovered food for use in fertilizer and nutrient-efficient products that enhance plant and soil health.

• January 2022: Deere & Co. stated that it developed a fully autonomous tractor designed for large-scale farming and sold the machine later that year.
• March 2021: CNH Industrial has completed a minority investment in a US-based agriculture technology company Monarch Tractor. Monarch pioneered tractor technology incorporating electrification, autonomous use, and data management and developed an electric tractor platform that combines a fully-electric powertrain with autonomous technologies to help advance farming operations.
