• August 2023: Johnson Hardwood announced that The R.A. Siegel Company would represent it in the following Southeast territories: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and the eastern portions of Tennessee. The R.A. Siegel Company will now offer Johnson’s complete floor coverings, including SPC/rigid core, high-performance laminate, and premium hardwood flooring.
• May 2022: Bauwerk Group AG acquired Somerset Hardwood Flooring, a vertically integrated forest products company based in Somerset, Kentucky. Through this acquisition, Bauwerk Group AG aims to strengthen its global profile and gain a stronger foothold in the flooring markets.

• March 2023: After two long years of working around the online space due to the pandemic, Mariwasa, the pioneer in the Philippine ceramic tile industry, returned to a face-to-face setup for the 26th edition of WORLDBEX at the World Trade Center, Pasay City, where they featured their latest innovative home solutions. Mariwasa will be transformed from the manufacturer and seller of tiles to offering a variety of decorative surfaces and bath sets, which are provided by DSB.
• September 2022: The Philippines biggest home retailer expanded its countrywide presence and recently opened their 80th milestone store in Calapan City, on the island of Mindoro. On the occasion of its 80th store opening in Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro, the Philippines' leading home improvement and construction retailer Wilcon Depot has reached another milestone.

• February 2023, Mohawk Industries completed the acquisition of Elizabeth. Acquisition helped Mohawk Industries to increase its presence in Brazilian market.
• Nov 2022: Floorcloud, a technology platform developed to improve job site quality control, partnered with the National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA) to add hardwood acclimation monitoring to its software. The equilibrium moisture content (EMC) calculator will help installers and contractors determine if the hardwood flooring is acclimated for that specific job site at that exact time.
• June 2022: Junckers, a leading solid hardwood-flooring brand in Denmark, recently opened its India office and exclusive Design Studio in the upscale area of Greater Kailash in New Delhi.

• February 2023: Atlas Concorde launches its new 2023 general catalog of ceramic tiles, The Atlas Concorde product system and a stylish assortment of surfaces are both inside to help customers design finished coordinated environments. Large slabs, kitchen counters, tables, and accessories, as well as sinks and bathroom fixtures, are all design elements that can broaden the design options for any intended application.

• Dinamika, the new Del Conca-branded surface, is the result of an innovative technology that is the first to replicate natural materials to such an accurate degree. Del Conca has launched it at CES 2021 after two years of research and development and an investment of over 2 million euros.
• June 2022: Confindustria Ceramica, the Italian association of ceramic manufacturers, and BKRI, the German organization of producers of raw materials for ceramics and industrial minerals, signed a Memorandum of Understanding in Munich. This agreement asks for an increase in mineral flows to the Italian ceramic industry of up to 10% by the end of August and up to 30% by December 2022. It was signed at Ceramitec, an international trade show for the ceramics and raw materials sectors.

• In November 2022, Platinum Ceramics launched a major plant modernization project aimed at increasing productivity and improving the quality of its products. It made a partnership with System Ceramics for the technological advancements of the project.

• August 2022: RAK Ceramics invested approximately USD 1.23 million in state-of-the-art manufacturing technologies and sustainability programs. As the demand for distinctive and sustainable ceramic floor tiles grows, RAK Ceramics' emphasis on sustainable production increases.
• March 2022: The production of ceramics and tiles in Iran stood at 332 million sq m in nine months of the current Iranian calendar year. The chairman of the Iranian Ceramic Society says Iran-made ceramics and tiles are currently exported to 150 countries.

• February 2023: Shaw Industries Group, Inc. announced that it completed the purchase of a controlling interest in Watershed Solar LLC. Watershed Solar provides patented renewable energy solutions. The technology, branded PowerCap, supplies low-profile, high-output solar arrays on top of landfills, coal ash closures, and rooftops, turning liabilities or underused spaces into renewable energy assets.
• June 2022: Mohawk Industries, Inc. announced that it agreed to purchase the Vitromex ceramic tile business from Grupo Industrial Saltillo (GIS) for approximately USD 293 million in cash. The transaction was expected to close in the second half of 2022 and was subject to the approval of GIS's shareholders, as well as customary government approvals and closing conditions. The Vitromex business was expected to be accretive to Mohawk's earnings.
