• March 2023: Dachser acquired ACA International, based in Melbourne, Australia. With this acquisition, Dachser's own air and sea freight network now includes Australia and New Zealand. These are two economically powerful countries that are also directly linked to Asia, Europe, and North America. Dachser, a family-owned firm based in Kempten, Germany, offers transport logistics, warehousing, and customized services via two divisions: Dachser Air & Sea Logistics and Dachser Road Logistics.
• February 2023: GEODIS, a logistics service, teamed with Volvo Australia to develop an electric truck trial program in Australia. The collaboration seeks to provide clients with more sustainable delivery options by utilizing Volvo's Fully Electric (FE) variant trucks. The FE trucks, which are fueled by solar energy and ABB's energy-efficient charging systems, can deliver big cargo weighing up to 7,500 kg for up to 200 km within metropolitan regions. GEODIS will evaluate the suitability of the FE vehicles for its fleet during the pilot phase before rolling out the completely electric trucks on a broader scale.
• September 2022: Ofload, an Australian digital freight forwarding and transport management firm, acquired CIA Logistics, a Melbourne-based freight expert. Ofload's initial purchase expanded its workforce count to more than 120.

• May 2023: To serve Bangladesh's ever-expanding readymade garments (RMG) industry, DHL Global Forwarding, the freight-specializing division of Deutsche Post DHL Group, recently committed more than 2 million euros to extend its specialized Container Freight Station (CFS) capacity. Less than 20 CFSs are present in the entire nation of Bangladesh, making CFSs rare. These facilities assist in gathering products from various sources, combining them into a single container, and then transporting the container to the desired location.
• November 2022: With the construction of a brand-new 100,000-square-foot facility in Chattogram, Maersk (Maersk) is increasing the size of its warehouse operations in Bangladesh. The new facility is conveniently situated close to the Chattogram Port and has easy access to the Dhaka-Chattogram Highway through the Outer Ring Road and Karnaphuly Tunnel, providing Bangladeshi garment exporters based in the nearby manufacturing centers with simple access.

• August 2022: Lineage Logistics, LLC ('Lineage' or the 'Company'), one of the world's leading temperature-controlled industrial REIT and logistics solutions providers, announced its intention to acquire Grupo Fuentes, a major operator of transport and cold storage facilities, headquartered in Murcia, Spain. Grupo Fuentes has a cold storage warehouse in Murcia with 60,000 pallet positions and plans to expand the site with an additional 40,000 pallet positions.
• January 2022: MOVIANTO, a pharmaceutical logistics provider in Spain, invested 38 million euros (USD 41.88 million) in a new center in Numancia de la Sagra (Toledo). The new space will have an area of 40,000 m2 and a capacity for more than 35,000 pallets at a controlled temperature, which will double, and even triple, the company's capacity in Spain.

• April 2023: JD Logistics, in partnership with the All-China Environment Federation's Green Supply Chain Committee, proudly launched the world's first Supply Chain Emission Management Platform (SCEMP) for the logistics industry. This ground-breaking logistics transportation carbon footprint monitoring tool analyses carbon emissions based on actual vehicle routes, offering unsurpassed granularity.
• November 2022: Cainiao Network ("Cainiao"), Alibaba Group Holding Limited's logistics subsidiary, announced a strategic agreement with Nestlé China. The collaboration will centre on increasing collaboration throughout Nestlé's smart supply chain and its brands, including Starbucks at Home, Hsu Fu Chi, Wyeth, and Totole. Nestlé's B2C and B2B fulfilment operations, as well as digitalized supply chain and sustainability, as well as enhancements to direct-to-consumer (DTC) fulfilment, logistics automation, and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies, are key areas of focus.

• December 2022: DB Schenker has launched China-Laos Railway, the service includes auxiliary options such as domestic pick-up, customs declaration, cross-border railway transportation, and destination customs clearance.
• November 2022: DHL prolonged its partnership with the German Bobsleigh, Luge, and Skeleton Federation (BSD) for another four years. The premium and logistics partnership has been in place since the 2014-2015 winter season, and it includes logistics for all equipment during the seasons, along with the branding of sports equipment and clothing of athletes.

• December 2022: In an effort to increase the scope of its waste management services in the Eastern European market through its Saica Natur business division, Saica Group has reached an agreement to buy 76% of Fox Recykling's shares. Fox Recykling, based in Gdynia, northern Poland, is estimated to have handled about 45,000 tonnes of garbage and generated about EUR 9 Million(USD 10.09 Million) in revenue in 2021. The company's value offering in the eastern European market and the development objectives outlined in its Saica 2025 strategy plan are anticipated to benefit from its partly acquisition by Saica.
• August 2022: The waste management company Beauparc revealed yesterday that it has paid an undisclosed sum for a biomass power plant in Tyrone, Northern Ireland. According to Beauparc, the agreement reinforces its commitment to creating robust and sustainable processes while achieving strict carbon neutral goals.

• August 2022: DHL Supply Chain, a logistics company that operates within Deutsche Post DHL Group, has further expanded its life sciences and healthcare (LSH) campus in Florstadt, near Frankfurt am Main, Germany. The new branch adds a third, over 344,000-square-foot logistics center to the multi-user campus, specializing in pharma and medical products. There are several temperature-controlled zones available, including ambient-cooled and freezer areas with temperatures as low as -20 °C.
• July 2022: Logistics 4Pharma GmbH, a pharmaceutical cold-chain packaging, storage, warehousing, and logistics specialist, is expanding its service portfolio to satisfy more complex customer needs. The recent investment in ultra-deep-freeze (UDF) warehousing for temperatures as low as -80 °C enables the storage of highly sensitive medicines such as proteins and COVID-19 vaccines. Warehousing services offered by Logistics 4Pharma now include a full range of controlled temperatures from -80 °C to +25 °C.

• June 2022: The Halal Food Company launched five new ready-made meals in Sainsbury's, United Kingdom. The company offers a snack pot of chicken curry and basmati rice, peri-peri stir fry with grilled chicken, beef lasagna, shepherd's pie, and macaroni pasta with slow-cooked meatballs.
• February 2022: Berlin-based startup Gethalal Group launched a food delivery service for halal foods in the country. The company's strategic plan is to reach the customer base platform and meet Muslim families' supermarket needs.

• March 2023: To improve the sustainability and efficiency of the supply chain, Aramco and DHL Supply Chain have announced the signing of a shareholders' agreement for a new procurement and logistics hub in Saudi Arabia. It would be the first such center in the area, serving clients in the industrial, energy, chemical, and petrochemical industries. To serve businesses in the industrial, energy, chemical, and petrochemical industries, the joint venture plans to start operating in 2025. It will offer dependable end-to-end integrated procurement and supply chain services. The combined business would concentrate initially on Saudi Arabia, with plans to grow throughout the MENA region.
• October 2022: According to the Saudi Press Agency and citing the Minister of Transport and Logistics, Saudi Arabia is seeking to launch 59 logistic zones to strengthen supply chains and logistic services. The Kingdom will be able to play both a regional and a global role thanks to these zones. 18 industrial zones in total were chosen to broaden their company operations and develop into a logistical industrial center.

• September 2022: DHL Supply Chain (Contract logistics provider), planned to invest more than USD 553 million in India over the next five years to expand its warehousing capacity, workforce, and sustainability initiatives. Under this expansion, DHL Supply Chain will add 12 million sq. ft of warehousing space in its existing portfolio to take its total capacity to about 22 million sq. ft by 2026.
