The market is expected to grow at a rate of XX%. Rotary vane type compressors is a gas compressor albeit with two longitudinal rods with a rotor. This rotor is connected with a cylinder which moves. This rotor moves in its axis, since the vanes are connected to it they are pushed towards and from the stator wall due to the centrifugal force generated.    In this process the air that comes in from one end is compressed and moves out from the other end.

Rotary vane type compressors are used in areas where low pressure is desired. The use of Rotary vane type compressors has been going on from a long time. It is an older technology compared to screw type compressors. These compressors are used in multiple areas. This includes, robotics, pneumatics etc.

Several factors act as the market drivers for rotary vane type compressors. These compressors are suitable for harsh operating conditions which may not be suitable for other compressors. Also these compressors consume lower power and require lesser maintenance. Since there is less possibility of air escaping from inside the compressor it is considered to be the more efficient compressor than screw type ones. However the problem associated with this compressor is that it costs more than screw type rotary compressor.

The market for rotary vane compressors is divided into several types. These can be stationary or portable ones based on the movement of the equipment. Also these can be either oil free or oil flooded. Oil free rotary vane compressor achieves higher air pressure only by using the movement of shafts and cylinders. Also the rotary screw compressor can be single stage or multi stage based on the number of stages that are employed in the device. 

This compressor has specific challenges in its operations. It is not suitable for high pressure operations. It also has problem of oil carry over after its operations. But this compressor can operate in areas where low pressure is required. This is used in robotics and where pneumatics is required.
