This undertaking stands as one of the largest EV infrastructure initiatives worldwide.
• March 2022: Automovil, an innovative mobility startup in India, revealed its intentions to deploy 500 EV charging stations across 11 major cities in the country. To accomplish this, the company has entered into a strategic partnership with Midgard Electric, their chosen EV charging solutions provider, to install Bharat AC-001 and DC-001 EV chargers at Automovil's outlets.

• June 2023: Avis India, a luxury car rental services company based out of India, announced its plan to offer an additional 15% discount to all customers of Vistara as part of an exclusive summer offer.
• May 2023: Mychoize, a self-drive car rental company in India, announced its plan to initiate electric car rental services on a subscription model across 7 Indian cities.
• May 2023: Car Karlo Mobility Technologies LLP announced the launch of its self-driven car rental services in Pune. Customers of the company have the option to avail of their services through their online website or by downloading the Car Karlo Android app from the Google Play Store.
• January 2023: GTC Cabs, an online cab booking aggregator providing reliable and premium services to customers, announced the launch of its self-driven car rental business in India. To differentiate its service offerings, the company also implemented an initiative to charge only INR 400 from cab drivers to get business from the portal compared to the hefty commission that other apps charge from drivers.

June 2023: Uber Technologies announced Electric vehicle rides at Mumbai International Airport. The Uber Green Taxi is available for passengers traveling to and from the Mumbai airport. The company aims to contribute to reducing carbon emissions and promoting sustainable mobility throughout the city.

August 2023: Ola Cabs announced an expansion of its Prime Plus service to Mumbai, Pune, and Hyderabad Cities in India. Prime Plus service offers the promise of zero cancellations, the best drivers and top taxi cabs, and no operational hassles.

• May 2023: EnBW opened a new fast-charging station with a solar canopy in Großburgwedel, Germany. This is the first EV Charging station in Germany that offers service islands with car-related services such as floor mat cleaners. The company operates 27 large EnBW fast-charging stations with solar canopies throughout Germany. The company has opened more than 140 new fast-charging sites across Germany to date.
• April 2023: One of the leading EV Charging Infrastructure players, Charge Point, announced its partnership with ALD Automotive, a leading global sustainable mobility player. This partnership aims to create a unique electric Mobility Service Provider (eMSP) to accelerate corporate fleet electrification.

• November 2022: United Rentals, Inc. announced that the company entered into a definitive agreement to acquire the assets of family-owned Ahern Rentals, Inc., as the equipment rental firm looked to expand its U.S. presence.
• November 2022: GE Renewable Energy announced that it selected Mammoet UK, based in Thornaby, Teesside, to supply onshore heavy lifting and transport for the staging and assembly of turbine components for the Dogger Bank Wind Farm.
• May 2022: Case Construction Equipment launched its new D-Series mini excavators for the European market. The line comprises 20 models, including two zero-emission electric machines. D-Series machines can be used with the Case SiteWitch fleet management tool by customers managing large equipment fleets, such as those in the rental industry.

• July 2022: Hankook Tire & Technology Co., Ltd. (Hankook Tire) announced an investment to extend the Alphatread retreading factory in Hammelburg, Germany, for the first time. With investments in the high millions, the combined production capacity of hot and cold retreaded tires is up to 200,000 per year.
• February 2022: Bridgestone Corporation (Bridgestone) announced that it launched a joint research and development program with the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), Tohoku University, ENEOS Corporation (ENEOS), and JGC Holdings Corporation. This program aims to develop chemical recycling technologies that utilize used tires to achieve high-yield production of isoprene, a raw material for synthetic rubber.
• February 2022: Bridgestone Corporation announced that its ALENZA 001 was selected as original equipment for the Nissan compact crossover electric vehicle (EV) SUV, Ariya. The ALENZA 001 utilizes the latest pattern technology and specialized structure to ensure high driving performance and low noise. It also reduces rolling resistance by using a new tread rubber.

• February 2022: the government of The Philippines is expected to expand motorcycle taxi pilot programs, in anticipation of increased demand for ride-sharing and public transport in the country, after the gradual opening up of the market from the COVID-19 pandemic. This effort from the government is expected to increase demand in the coming years.
• February 2022: the Penyatuan Pemain Industri Pengangkutan Darat Malaysia (PPDM), representing the interests of taxi drivers, called for a government-backed nationwide e-ride-hailing platform. If such a program is started in the country, the demand for private taxi service providers and online platforms will significantly reduce; however, the supply of services will remain unaffected.

• June 2022: Carro acquired a 50% stake in the rental arm of Indonesian automotive group PT Mitra Pinasthika Mustika for nearly USD 54 million, according to a statement from the companies. PT Mitra Pinasthika Mustika Rent (MPMRent) is Indonesia's largest car rental company, with a fleet of over 13,000 vehicles and financing services.
• July 2022: InterContinental Phuket Resort and SIXT Thailand formed a partnership that will introduce the Nissan Leaf to its rental collection in Phuket. To power this new fleet of EVs, InterContinental Phuket Resort has installed a total of six EV charging points - four AC stations and one1 DC station with two chargers.
• January 2022:The Middle Eastern mobility company ekar announced that it will begin operations in Thailand, starting with Bangkok and moving on to other cities later this year. With no down payments or long-term commitments, ekar's exclusive car subscription service, which is available through the ekar app, offers cars with terms of one to nine months for a single monthly fee. Peer-to-peer carsharing services from ekar will be available later in 2022.

• March 2022- etHekwini Municipality in South Africa acquired tractors to rent for free to the farmers. The eThekwini Municipality's Agro-Ecology Unit managed the free tractor-hiring initiative.
• September 2021- Sonalika Group launched its Sonalika Agro Solutions App to offer high-tech agro machinery on rent to farmers in India.
